The Sigma 23mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for Fujifilm X is a wide-angle fast-aperture prime lens designed specifically for APS-C mirrorless system cameras (DC=APS-C, DN=mirrorless camera system design), delivering high resolution along with beautiful bokeh effects thanks to its F1.4 maximum aperture. This lens has been designed to achieve the highest level of optical performance in the history of SIGMA's DC DN line.

With a field of view equivalent to 35mm on a full-frame camera, the 23mm F1.4 DC DN | C adds this classic focal length to APS-C mirrorless cameras

This is the fourth F1.4 DC DN prime lens, joining the 16mm F1.4 DC DN | C, 30mm F1.4 DC DN | C, and the 56mm F1.4 DC DN | C lens. The DC DN line also includes the 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary Zoom lens.

To take advantage of the mobility of APS-C mirrorless cameras, the lens body is compact and lightweight, with a weight of 330g, length of 78.9mm, and filter diameter of 52mm, offering exceptional imaging performance when paired with compact APS-C mirrorless camera bodies including the Sony a6000 series and Fujifilm X-S10, along with high-megapixel, full-frame cameras in APS-C crop mode such as the 61MP SIGMA fp L.

AF is driven by a quiet, high-speed stepping motor for swift, silent operation for both still and video capture, and excellent flare/ghosting resistance makes it ideal for real-world shooting conditions. The overall optical performance is similar to the 56mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary lens and 35mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art lens.

The lens is ideal for landscapes, journalism, everyday photography, and so much more; with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:7.3 and a minimum focusing distance of just under 10 inches. The 9-blade rounded diaphragm allows for creative bokeh effects. The mount is dust- and splash-resistant.
